Bagdad Cafe, the Castro's longtime 24-hour diner, will close its doors for the last time after one more late night of business on Thursday, March 31st. For the past three years, our management team has worked diligently to reach an agreement with our landlord to extend our lease, but unfortunately talks have not been fruitful and we will be leaving. It has been a pleasure to serve the Castro community, and we have grown especially fond of our late night guests and regulars. We are grateful for the support you have shown us over the years. On Friday, April 1st, a new tenant will take over 2295 Market Street and begin transformation of the space and business. We wish them great success. Many thanks, and farewell from the entire Bagdad Cafe team. We will miss you all!
